WE BELIEVE //
IN THE WHOLESOME HUSTLE
Fiercely becoming the best we can be while enriching our lives.
IN UNAPOLOGETIC PURPOSE
A tame & ever-changing wind, never filled any sail.
IN KINDNESS ABOVE ALL ELSE
To planet, people & self
IN TRADE, NOT AID.
Income & impact baby.
IN THE PACIFIC TAKING THE WORLD BY STORM
Not the other way around.
The Projects Collective is Fiji's home for ethical artisans!
... where we infused beautiful thoughtful brands, with coffee, cocktails & craft beer!
The Projects opened in June 2016, as a collaborative side-hustle
by us ...
two Fiji mummas, Laura Cahir & Matisse Walkden Brown
Laura comes from a retail design / construction background (working for big brands like Billabong, Surf Dive n Ski , Tigerlily and Tappoo). Matisse comes from a campaigning background (she was Greenpeace's head of the Pacific region) . Eventually, these powers combined, and led us to setting up the coolest / craziest shop & cafe space in Fiji !!
We knew we had some legendary artisans across the Pacific, who just needed a platform to be able to sell. We wanted to help get their epic products and stories out there. We also knew we needed to have a fun shop, a place of creation ... but also something to be proud of.
So it was natural for the progression of The Projects Collective Fiji to incorporate ethical practises, because honestly ... who has the energy to start any other sort of business these days ??
Matisse has now left our little island paradise in favour of the city hustle in Sydneys Eastern suburbs, Laura has taken over the reigns of the shop solo for now, so lets all see what unfolds instore for 2020, we have a few exciting new partnerships and ideas instore, to keep your passionate and inlove with the brand.
